Clinical supervision
I hold a certificate in supervision and have extensive experience in supervising clinical teams in mental health services, maximum secure forensic teams, and rape crisis and childhood sexual abuse staff. In the past I have been a practice teacher for MA social work students at Bristol and Edinburgh university, and Masters in psychotherapy trainees at Middlesex. I have experience in risk assessment, multi agency work, and safeguarding. I am familiar with a contemplative model of supervision and I am a registered training supervisor at the Karuna Institute, a psychotherapy training in Bristol UK.
I offer one to one and small group clinical supervision for qualified psychotherapists and counsellors, and welcome work within charities and welfare organisations.
As a qualified child and adolescent psychotherapist I supervise people who have an attachment based interest in their work with parents/carers, and clients manifesting with the adult sequelae of adverse childhood experiences in agency settings or in private practice.
